Want to express your artistic talent? Enter the Prairie Art Center’s Competitive Art Show.

The Art Show Gallery is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.

Registration will open in 2024.

Beautiful and unique quilts made by beginner to professional level quilt makers are displayed in a spacious venue that encourages browsing and conversation. Each year is different, but quilt entries are often from local, area and nearby states, as well as generational items. Quilt styles include modern, traditional, hand quilted, machine quilted and more. There will be a boutique available to purchase a variety of items donated by guild members. There will also be a silent auction.

No admission charge-free will donations are accepted.

Come down to the North Platte Recreation Center for the annual Golden Games – if you are 55+ enjoy a day filled with games, activities, fun, and refreshments!

Support the North Platte Jaycee’s at their annual Flapjack Feed!

Show off your cool ride at the Buffalo Bill Kiwanis Antique Car Show & Parade. Car Display begins at 9 A.M. – parade to follow at Noon.

Parade Route: Go West on 3rd Street, turn North at Dewey

Pre-Registration is $10 – Online Registration will open in 2024.

Load your kids and their bikes & navigate a series of obstacles and challenges! All skill levels are welcome. Helmets are encouraged.

Bring the kiddos down to the Pizza Ranch Parking Lot for Sandcastle Building and a Money Scramble.

Sandcastle Building is open to children of all ages.

Money Scramble is for children ages 4 and under.
