2025 NEBRASKALAND DAYS ON PARADE

Thank you for your interest in participating in NEBRASKAland DAYS on Parade. We would love to see as much engagement as possible from the entire state! We are specifically asking for more marching band participation and a float from each county.
The 2025 Parade will be held Saturday, June 21, starting at 1 p.m. All entry forms and entry fees must be turned in to the NEBRASKAland DAYS office by Friday, June 13 , 2025.

PARADE INFORMATION
Friday, June 13, 2025 – Complete are entries due
Tuesday, June 17, 2025 – Expect a parade packet to be emailed to you, unless otherwise specified
Saturday, June 21, 2025 Parade line up begins at 11 a.m.
All entries must be in place by 12:15 p.m.
Parade begins at 1 p.m.
Helpful Tips:
- Plan ahead and be ready, expect a delay when lining up in the parade route
- Inform your float participants of the rules. They will be enforced, and actions will be taken
- Entry descriptions should be 20 seconds in length. Try to make descriptions two sentences

- On parade day, entries will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis. Late entries will be put at the
end of the parade line-up. No exceptions.
PARADE RULES
Rules are subject to change including but not limited to new parade format, route or cancellation due to government directed health measures. Any new rules will be emailed to all entries.
- All entries must submit a complete entry form with signed waivers and the $15 entry fee
- All entries are due by June 13, 2025. No exceptions
- All entries are limited to 3 motorized vehicles, of which (1) must comply with float theme and be
pulled by one of the three vehicles listed in the entry - All routines (dance, cheer and riding) shall not exceed 30 seconds. Parade movement cannot be delayed because of repeated/extended performance of routines. Routines may only be performed at directed review sites.
- Riding units are limited to organized and uniformed riding groups.
- Horses must be of calm nature and not frightened by noise or excitement.
- Maintain all intervals through parade route and be mindful of gaps.
- Cars for dignitaries must be antique cars, convertibles, or horse drawn buggies.
GENERAL RULES
- Do not throw candy or other items. Candy may only be handed out.
- Candy may not be handed out before entry passes 4th and Bryan westbound.
- Drinking alcoholic beverages of any kind on public streets is against the law and prohibited.
- Please be on time. Plan if your entry requires more time to prepare.
- Political officials may campaign in the parade. Issue driven entries are prohibited.
Please keep safety in mind for everyone! If these rules are not abided by, the entry will be asked to stop their actions, may be removed from the parade, or may be banned from next year’s parade. We will strictly enforce these rules. These rules are to prevent injury. Please join us in creating a fun and safe NEBRASKAland DAYS parade.
