2007 Miss Rodeo Nebraska

Erin Robbins

“Cherish Yesterday, Dream Tomorrow, Live Today!”

Cherish Yesterday, Dream Tomorrow, Live Today. This motto could not ring more true for this Nebraska cowgirl. On June 14, 2006, at the NEBRASKAland Days/Buffalo Bill Rodeo, Erin Robbins saw years of work & determination come to fruition when she was crowned Miss Rodeo Nebraska 2007. Erin rose to the top in three out of six categories – speech, personality, & appearance.

The youngest of four children, Erin is the 23-year-old daughter of Marty & Linda Robbins, and is proud to call Burwell, Nebraska home. She graduated from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska with Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Veterinary Technology and Agribusiness Management. While in college, Erin was involved with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Team, Rodeo Team, Student Senate, Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, served as a Resident Assistant of the girls dorm, and received recognition on the Dean’s List and National Dean’s List.

Erin would like to continue building her career as a veterinary technician with future aspirations of expanding into veterinary office management, and raising registered quarter horses.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys cooking, dancing, singing, sewing, and working with animals, but her passion is horses. Erin is also active in her church & volunteers at East Point Acres Horspice.

As Miss Rodeo Nebraska 2007, Erin hopes to educate children and adults while promoting awareness of the humane treatment of the animal athletes in the PRCA rodeo industry.

Erin would like to invite you to join her as she travels to rodeos across Nebraska. She extends a special invitation to the 2007 NEBRASKAland Days celebration and Buffalo Bill Rodeo.
