Urban Cowboy

The annual Buffalo Bill Birthday Bash has been scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm at the Quality Inn and Suites in North Platte. The theme is Urban Cowboy, so whether you want to dress up as Sissy or Bud, or just come in your best western wear, you’ll fit right in. Tickets are $50 a person, and includes access to food, hospitality booths and the rest of the party. Get your tickets here.

The Band

The Innocence

We’re pleased to announce that NEBRASKAland DAYS has secured The Innocence as our band for the night’s festivities. The Innocence is a four-piece band from Kearney, NE. They play a wide variety of fun party and dance music from Journey to Rascal Flatts; George Strait to AC/DC. Their instrumental and vocal prowess allows them the freedom to cover difficult songs most bands wouldn’t dare attempt.
The Innocence has played shows with Boston, Kansas, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Lee Ann Womack, and Winona Judd at state fairs, festivals, and other concerts. Two members of the band have opened for Journey and Big N’ Rich at NEBRASKAland Days.All four members have Music Degrees from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and have careers in music outside of the bandGreg Sales – Guitar/Vocals
Greg lights up The Innocence stage with his amazing guitar playing. He is also the magician mixing sound during the performances. Influenced by guitar greats like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eddie Van Halen; his extreme soloing ability shines through the toughest of cover rock tunes. Greg teaches guitar at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and is the Pro Audio manager at Yanda’s Music & Pro Audio in Kearney, NE.Spencer Hansen – Keyboards/Vocals
Spencer brings great vocals, endless keyboard ability, and an exciting stage presence to The Innocence! Spencer is a seasoned musician that can chameleon into any musical genre. Rock, country, blues, jazz…you name it. Spencer is the Director of Bands at Lexington Public Schools. Spencer and Luke play in a duo when The Innocence has time off.Luke Oswald – Drums
Luke defines excellence in drumming. He provides the rumble that makes you move, and the ‘funk’ to really let those hips shake! Luke has been privately taught by first-call studio drummers in both Los Angeles and Nashville. Luke is a software technician for Marex Group in Lincoln, NE and teaches music lessons privately.Dave Lerbakken – Bass/Vocals
On lead vocals, Dave is the voice behind all of the “Journey” tunes The Innocence cover. He’s been personally taught by bass legends Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey. Dave keeps the crowds energized and creates a party that flows throughout the night! Dave teaches music privately at Yanda’s Music in Kearney, NE, owns D Avenue Karaoke & DJ Service, and plays his solo show when The Innocence has time off.
