Beutler and Son Rodeo Co. – Pro Rodeo Stock Contractor
It takes more than cowboys and cowgirls to make a rodeo. The bucking horses and bulls deserve part of the spotlight, too.
Beutler and Son Rodeo Co. own the livestock that buck at the rodeo. The company, based out of Elk City, Okalahoma, has been in business since 1929 and is in its 64th year of providing livestock for the Buffalo Bill Rodeo.
Bennie and son Rhett provide bucking horses and bulls for about 25 events a year, and work such prestigious rodeos as the Tucson (Arizona) Rodeo, the Greeley (Colorado) Stampede, and Rodeo Austin in Texas. They own the bull Voodoo Child, who was the PRCA’s Bucking Bull of the Year in 2007 and 2008 and has a 90% buck off rate in the PBR.
Bennie is a 2010 inductee into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. He and his wife Connie have 2 daughters in addition to Rhett: Amber and Katie. Rhett and his wife Tracy are the parents of two children: daughter Taylor and son Jake. For more information on Beutler & Son rodeo, visit www.beutlerandsonrodeo.com.
