On July 4th, 1882, William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody staged the Old Glory Blowout in North Platte, Nebraska at a site believed to be near what is now Cody Park. The Great American Wild West Show is an authentic look back in time at Buffalo Bill's original Wild West Show, which began right here in North Platte as the Old Glory Blowout. The show runs on June 24th and 25th at the famed Wild West Arena.
